Strange & Mysterious holes of our world

Today in this post we are going to see some of the mysterious holes on the surface of the earth. Some of them are made by humans, but some are made by unknown natural forces. Let’s get started:

1.     Strange hole of Siberia:

In Yamal (located in Siberia), suddenly a hole was formed which depth is around 200 feets. No one knows how it was formed. This area is known for its mysterious sinkhole.

It was July when a group of shepherd saw it, and they were frightened. But there were more surprises in the queue because this hole of 80m diameter wasn’t alone, there were more like this.

When analysis of this hole was done then report said that there was a blast in this hole located in Yamal because particles of sand and stones were thrown 120 m away from the hole. The difficulty was that this incident wasn’t connected with any of known factors. People tried to connect it with earthquake and meteoroid, but there wasn’t any earthquake or strike of a meteoroid in near past.

Russian scientists made the team and they got down in the hole. In hole they found wet surface and water froze to ice. By seeing crater, It seemed that something went outside from hole.

Research is still ongoing on this hole, but no valid reason is found till now.

2.     KTB Superdeep Borehole:

September 1990, a group of scientists made a deep hole in the surface of the earth by drilling. This facility is located in south Germany. The goal of this project was to reach the core of the earth. This project was named as KTB Superdeep Borehole.

Scientists successfully made a hole of 6 miles depth by drilling. They passed through tectonic plates and boiling hydrogen. At that level, they measured that earth temperature is around 315 degree Celsius.

They succeed to solve some unknown mysteries about our earth. They touched a stone which is 25 million years old. They also recorded voices coming from the core of the earth.

Scientists have stopped working on this project because of financial matters. Their dream to touch the earth’s core wasn't fulfilled.

3.     Strange sand hole in Indiana National Park:

In 2013, A boy wondering in Indiana National Park was suddenly swallowed by a Sand hole, after 3 hours of hard work and efforts boy was saved. But it was just a beginning because this sand hole wasn’t alone. There were formations of many others like this one.

After this incident geologists were surprised because they couldn’t find reasons of this. Ground Penetrating Radar was also used to find reasons behind these sand holes. But there was no conclusion of this at all.
